WHY LEARN TO SAIL WITH KSC?

• This comprehensive class gets you to skipper level where you will be capable of taking command of our boats. No additional classes required and typically lower overall cost than other local options. Limited class size means you have the best student/instructor ratio available.
• We teach the FULL syllabus, missing nothing out and adding a few extras. We work with our students to help them not just walk away with a piece of paper but ensure they can actually sail the boat. This includes docking, close quarters maneuvering under motor and even sailing on and off a dock. We'll give you additional tuition at no extra cost if you need more time to certify.
• All our instructors are FULLY qualified (not in-training) with US SAILING. They also hold FULL USCG Captain's licenses (not limited), meaning they have many years of verified sea-time experience to share with you. No exceptions.
• KSC gives you the most training hours per class.  Basic keelboat classes are limited to just 3 students and the course is spread over 3 full days, providing many more hours of 'tiller-time'. 
• We teach the US SAILING curriculum for many reasons. It is the National Governing Body of Sailing and the only sailing organization recognized by US Congress. It works with World Sailing to develop international sailing and the Olympics. It also has learning paths for both cruising and racing- giving you many growth options
